LG's ultra-thin 4K OLED TV incorporates a magnetic magnet mechanism to attach to the wall like paper instead of hanging on a shelf.

The OLED Signature W7 is the thinnest TV at 3mm. So LG's OLED TV model is only similar to four ATM cards and not even a typical ornamental glass screen.

The OLED Signature W7 is the first TV with a screen thinner than a sheet of glass.

Because the product is delicate, the entire design is the initial impression.

The wall-mounted design allows the complete wall base and screen to be less than 4 mm thick when hung, whereas most other ultra-thin TVs have the screen protruding tens of millimeters from the wall owing to the mounting brackets. This magnet attracts and sticks to an ultra-thin metal support structure.

Thinness and wall-mounting are enabled with OLED displays. The W7's screen can attach and remove from the wall as though made of glass. It has a 65- or 77-inch screen yet weighs just 8 to 9 kg, significantly less than ultra-thin TVs.

The W7's design is minimalist, as is the current trend in technology. The W7's screen bezel is thin compared to other TVs. The entire front is glossy black glass. A narrow metal band covers the four borders.

The OLED W7's regular connectivity connector has been detached from the screen, establishing a Hub set in return for the simple design and ultra-thin speaker and control unit. An audio bar-like format (a speaker bar). A tiny, transparent wire connects the display and the hub. Instead of on the TV, the USB, HDMI, and antenna ports are now on the soundbar.

The W7 has two parts: a screen and a soundbar/control center, joined by a thin transparent wire

Unlike LED screens, OLED screens assist show pictures with excellent contrast without a backlight. As a result, there are few light-opening phenomena in a typical LED TV, whether it uses quantum dot technology. That's obvious while watching an HD movie on a wall-mounted OLED TV.

The OLED W7's display quality is suitable for most viewers due to the convergence of several modern image technologies. Moreover, the thinness of the screen does not influence visibility.

Without a backlight like LED screens, OLED screens assist show pictures with excellent contrast. There are few and numerous light-opening phenomena in a typical LED TV, whether it uses quantum dot technology. That's obvious while watching an HD movie on a wall-mounted OLED TV.

Despite the compact size, the visual quality is impressive, from sharpness to color and depth.

This is LG's most sophisticated TV model in terms of specs and technology. The W7's screen is 25% brighter than last year's high-end OLED devices. In addition, the screen supports all three HDR video formats: Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG. This is the first TV with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. However, consumers do not need to bother about viewing formats. Activating the content-compatible HDR format results in a bit of notice in the screen corner.

Hollywood movie makers have endorsed HDR as a significant picture technology for next-generation high-end TVs. For the most part, this image format boosts color and detail. As a result, white photograph sections are not blurred and lost information. Along with streaming 4K and HDR video via a TV or USB storage, customers may use internet apps like Netflix and YouTube on LG's W7 OLED.

The Signature W7's image quality is most important in terms of longevity. Even while OLED panels outperform LCD and LCD LED display quality, their lifetime still has concerns. Moreover, unlike standard TVs, the TV's flexible screen panel requires extra care during usage and maintenance.

The soundbars also regulate and integrate the TV's connection ports and common antennae.

Separating the TV into two parts, the screen, and the soundbar, cause installation issues, but the sound quality is excellent. While most TVs with built-in speakers have low volume, poor quality, lack vibrancy, and don't generate a different surround sound effect, the W7's soundbar does rather well.

Six subwoofers make a 4.2 system. The various speakers also generate dramatic effects when viewing TV programs or sporting events. In addition, the Dolby Atmos technology is noticeable when watching movies, especially in HD and 4K resolution. However, compared to a standalone soundbar or home theater sound system, the OLED W7's speakers only have 60 watts of power, better than a standard TV.

Compare the LG OLED W7 to the 2017 Sony and Samsung high-end TV models.

LG's wall-mounted OLED TV is among the priciest on the market, with a stated price of 300 million dongs for the 65-inch model and 650 million dongs for the 77-inch variant. The Signature W7 costs twice as much as the "junior" OLED G7. On the market are still certain OLED lines and even Super UHD 4K with OLED screen, 4K HDR, or WebOS 3.5 intelligent operating system for roughly 100 million VND.

The OLED W7 is for giants or technological buffs but not for most Vietnamese TV viewers.

However, the W7 OLED is undoubtedly an "expensive" premium alternative.
