Inverter technology
An Inverter system of Daikin with swing compressor and DC motor can help to noticeably reduce household electricity bills, particularly compared to Non-inverter models. At the same time, improving the noise level of both outdoor and indoor units helps to keep the machine running smoothly, maintain a stable temperature and achieve optimal capacity.
Compressor heart of air conditioner
- Reluctance DC Motor: Take advantage of magnets to reduce your electricity bill. The process of attaching highly magnetic magnets throughout the entire center of the rotating shaft creates a powerful magnet. By quickly switching the poles of this electromagnet, the DC reluctance motor can produce more incredible speed and power.
- Swing Compressor: The Swing compressor will significantly reduce friction and vibration with a gentle circular motion. On the other hand, it also eliminates refrigerant leakage during compression. These advantages make the machine quieter and more efficient.
Quiet operation
With quiet operation, the indoor unit noise level will reduce by 3 to 9 dB(A)* to help you sleep better at night.
In addition, a quiet outdoor operation reduces outdoor unit noise 3 to 7 dB(A)** compared to regular function.
*Applicable to some models only.
Stable temperature
After the set temperature is reached, the inverter air conditioner operates at low power to maintain the room temperature.
Erratic temperatures cause uncomfortable periods as the room temperature is sometimes too high or too low.
Optimal capacity
Inverter technology changes the frequency of the power source, resulting in a change in the machine's capacity. This allows the device to operate higher than non-inverter machines of the same degree.
Comfort airflow Coanda
Unique design of Coanda panel brings the airflow along the ceiling, to spread out across the whole room without creating uncomfortable drafts directly o the body, bring maximum comfort.
High Durability
Hi-low Voltage Shield
Daikin’s printed circuit boards are specially strengthened durablity to withstand voltage fluctuations upto 440V.
(*) FTKA series units operate at 150 to 264v
Notes: applied with 1 phase electricity.
Anti-corrossion Treatment of Microchannel Heat Exchanger (MCHE)
When the indoor air conditioner is turned on, the outdoor air conditioner outdoor unit will have to experience weather conditions such as hot sunshine, stormy weather, or sea breeze, causing the radiator to be corrupted and destroyed.
Ordinary aluminum radiators are covered with zinc to protect the aluminum material inside. However, the aluminum-coated is still subject to corrosion.
Daikin developed a microchannel heat exchanger composed of aluminum alloy fins connected to parallel microtubules, which increases heat transfer and reduces corrosion compared to conventional fins.
In addition, the durability of the radiator is also proved when it passes the 2,000 hour salt spray test without leaking due to corrosion. (*)
(*) The test is carried out by Daikin Research and Development Center Thailand.
Air Purification
Enzyme Blue Filter (Option)
This filter acts as a protective shield, providing an optimal solution to bring in the fresh air, remove odors and allergens, reduce 99.9% of certain types of bacteria, reduce the possibility of viral infection to less than 1:1000.
PM2.5 Filter (Option)
This filter removes PM 2.5, particulate matter which is smaller than 2.5 micrometres (µm).
Mould-Proof Operation
When cooling or dry operation is stopped, fan-only operation runs automatically for one hour. This airflow dries the inside of the indoor unit to prevent the generation of mould and odours, strengthen durability of air conditioner
Improved outdoor unit design
Adjust the drain hole, cover the holes on the front and side so that lizards can't get in and affect the board.

Specifications
* Model will be sold after July 2021
Note: The above values correspond to 220V, 50 Hz power supply. Measurement conditions
1. Cooling capacity based on: Room temperature 27°CDB, 19°CWB, outdoor temperature 35°CDB, 24°CWB, pipe length 7.5m
2. Noise level is based on temperature conditions, as shown in section 1. These conversion values do not have echoes.
Actual measured noise levels usually are higher than these values due to the influence of ambient conditions.
3. CSPF is based on TCVN 7830: 2015
