Smart Humidity Control
This function has been greatly improved to increase comfort for its user by adding the Humidity Control Function which decreases the humidity level during the cooling process while reaching its intended temperature
Even if the indoor temperature is the same, you usually feel cooler with lower humidity. This is because people release body heat by evaporating sweat on their skin. When the air is relatively dry, sweat evaporates quickly, releasing a large amount of heat.
However, when the air is humid, heat is not released and people feel hot and uncomfortable. With this in mind, Daikin has developed technologies that create a more comfortable balance between indoor temperature and humidity.
Comfortable Auto Fan Speed
When the room temperature is close to the set temperature during the auto fan speed setting, the indoor unit fan speed decreases to keep humidity low and avoid operation stop. With this operation, the system provides less draft and cools the room continuously.

Compressor
Daikin’s in-house compressors have been designed to consume less energy. In a 30-day test comparing operation of non-inverter and Super Multi S models, the compressors of the Super Multi S models consumed 30% less energy than conventional non-inverter models.
Expansion Valve
Daikin’s “Smart Refrigerant Control Technology” allows the system to eciently adjust refrigerant amount. Refrigerant control precision is adjusted to be 80% better than conventional models that can be controlled even during low load.
Durability
Operate in overly high or low voltage fluctuations without breakdown
The mainboard can withstand high and low voltage fluctuations from 130 to 440V. Daikin air conditioner can operate normally when the voltage is between 130 and 264V. Even when the voltage fluctuates from 0 to 440V, the Daikin air conditioner can still work again without building something.
Heat exchanger anti-corrosion and acid rain resistance
Use of anti-corrosion heat exchanger fins is based on the JRA9002 standard established by the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association. The surface is covered with a thin acrylic resin layer to enhance the fins’ resistance to acid rain and salt corrosion.
Printed circuit boards
Printed circuit boards are the brains of air conditioners, and we protect them with a moisture-proof insulation coating.
Screws and Bolts
Daikin outdoor units use corrosion-resistant screws and bolts that have passed the Corrosion Test Method for Automotive Materials JASOM609.

All metal sheets, including bottom frames, are corrosion-resistant coated.
